All content on this website, with the exception of guest articles, is copyrighted in my name, and as such, my intellectual property. I want to strike a balance between protecting my intellectual property rights and my content being widely distributed.
I don’t allow the re-posting of articles in their entirety because Google penalises websites for publishing duplicate content. Google isn’t always able to tell which website hosts the original article, so I risk getting penalised myself if I grant permission to re-post an article in its entirety.
However you’re welcome to do the following without my permission:
- Link to my website or any specific article on this site.
- Extract and re-post 200 words, or less, on another site, providing you link back to my original article.
- Print out my articles and photocopy up to 50 copies for internal distribution within your own company or organisation.
- Use my article s in any non-commercial publication e.g. company newsletter, provided you include this copyright notice: “© 2017, Denyse Whillier. All rights reserved. Originally published at www.denysewhillier.com.”
Guest bloggers retain the copyright to the posts they write. The above guidelines don’t apply to their work. If you’re interested in re-posting or publishing their content, you must contact the author directly.
If you have a use for my content that I’ve not covered here, please email me.
